Sheffield Wednesday could see Liam Shaw be available this weekend for a return from injury, whilst Moses Odubajo could be back at the end of the month.

The Owls have given themselves a real fighting chance of survival in recent weeks with some good results and the win against Bournemouth earlier on this week has thrown the relegation battle wide open with several teams bunched together.

Indeed, they'll be looking to bring Millwall closer into the fray this weekend with a win at The New Den and it's a match that could see Shaw return.

As per Yorkshire Live, there is a possibility he could return for the Millwall game, though it remains to be seen if that is the case.

Meanwhile, in the case of Odubajo, the same outlet reports that a possible return date could be the end of this month.

The Verdict

Wednesday are in touch with the sides above them in the relegation zone and it looks as though there will be a real fight on between now and the end of the campaign amongst a gaggle of teams for survival.

Keeping squads fit and healthy will be key this year, then, and it looks as though Shaw and Odubajo have at least got potential return dates placed on them.
