Portsmouth manager Kenny Jacket has given a positive update to the club's fans, revealing that winger Jamal Lowe has not handed in a transfer request, reports Andrew Moon of the BBC.
The Pompey boss admitted that although they had rejected a few bids for his services, none have yet been high enough and there remains no desire to sell him.
Lowe was one of League One's stand-out performers last season as the South-Coast side came agonisingly close to returning the Championship.
The 24-year-old netted 15 goals in 45 third-tier matches, contributing nine assists as well, so it is very little surprise that there is a significant amount of interest in his services.
Jackett's side finished the 2018/19 in fourth place on 88 points, level with third-placed Charlton and just three points outside the automatic promotion places.
When push came to shove in the play-offs, however, they were narrowly beaten 1-0 across both legs by Sunderland to miss out on a shot at promotion at Wembley.
They did not come away empty-handed, however, after beating the Black Cats at Wembley in the Checkatrade Trophy final in April, a match that saw Lowe lob in a fantastic goal in extra time.
The verdict
This is of course a positive update for Portsmouth fans in as much as they do not have an unhappy player on their books.
But I would not celebrate too soon.
Lowe is an outstanding player and with the money available to some clubs in the Championship I think it is only a matter of time before he is snapped up by somebody else.
