Sheffield United are expected to welcome back Jack O'Connell and George Baldock as they prepare for Saturday's vital fixture at promotion rivals West Brom.

The Blades currently occupy the second automatic spot in the Championship but they are just four points ahead of fourth placed West Brom, with the Baggies also having a game in hand.

Therefore, the result on Saturday will have a serious impact on the promotion race.

The Sheffield Star have revealed that the two key Blades figures are expected to be fit after missing the 4-0 win over Reading - and Chris Basham is available following suspension.

It's by no means certain they will return to the team, with the Yorkshire side running out 4-0 winners over Reading last time out, in what was an extremely convincing display.

And, boss Chris Wilder revealed he is ready to make some tough decisions ahead of the trip to the West Midlands: "I'm the biggest supporter of this group that there is, and I have some difficult decisions to make. That's how it is, they all get on with it and no matter who starts and who comes off the bench on Saturday, I feel we're growing and enjoying the challenge."

The Verdict

This is very good news for Sheffield United as O'Connell, Basham and Baldock have all been massive players for the side this season.

Obviously, it presents Wilder with a dilemma as those who featured on Saturday will feel they have done enough to keep their place.

However, it's a nice problem to have, particularly ahead of what is undoubtedly a massive game for the team and it will be interesting to see what Wilder does.
