Leeds United are looking to get off to a flying start under Paul Heckingbottom this weekend as they take on Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.

The men from South Yorkshire have had a decent campaign so far and will be looking to spoil the West Yorkshire side's plans to get their new managerial era off to a winning start, meanwhile.

Both, for sure, could do with three points to get their top six challenges back on track, though, and so it should be a closely fought affair between the two come kick-off.

Today, though, focus has also been on the Leeds U23's game with them beating Nottingham Forest pretty easily to seal a 5-1 win.

With five different goal-scorers, too, the club's young side looks as though it is beginning to gel after a number of new young faces came through the door in January:

Certainly, this update is a positive sign for the future for Leeds and though some of the players probably won't make it to the level the club needs, some certainly could.

The Verdict

This is promising stuff for Leeds with a number of their young players doing well.

If this continues in this manner, too, it won't be long until some of the youngsters are knocking on the first team door.
