Portsmouth have completed the signing of central midfielder Nigel Atangana from Conference South side Havant & Waterlooville, according to Sky Sports.
The 25-year old French-born midfielder joins from the Conference South side for an undisclosed fee and has agreed to sign a two-year deal with the League Two side.
This past season the midfielder was able to make 40 league appearances and managed to score five goals.
Portsmouth have told the press that they ‘mutually agreed a deal’ with Havant & Waterlooville and we will now see Atangana play at Fratton Park next season.
Pompey boss Andy Awford told the club website, “I watched Nigel play on numerous occasions for the Hawks last season and was impressed with what I saw.
“I believe he’s capable of making the step up and playing in the Football League. It’s great that Nigel’s chosen to come and play for Pompey and I look forward to working with him.”
Atangana becomes Pompey’s fourth summer signing following the additions of Craig Westcarr, Danny Hollands and Paul jones
