QPR saw their FA Cup campaign come to a close on Friday night as they suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Championship rivals Sheffield Wednesday in the fourth round.

Mark Warburton's side were aiming to continue their free-scoring form in the competition following their 5-1 win over Swansea in the third round, but goals from Morgan Fox and Sam Winnall helped condemn the Rs to a disappointing defeat.

Nahki Wells then pulled one back for the hosts in the 93rd minute, but this was not enough for the West Londoners to mount a comeback with Warburton paying the price after making seven changes to his side following the 1-0 win over Leeds.

This saw the QPR boss drop the likes of Wells, Bright Osayi-Samuel and Geoff Cameron to the substitutes' bench despite their strong performances over the Whites, and a much-altered Rs side struggled to seize control of the match against the Owls.
