Derby County battled hard to pick up a point away from home at the weekend, with the Rams drawing 2-2 against Middlesbrough at the Riverside.
Phillip Cocu’s side have really started to pick up of late, winning two games on the bounce in the league before knocking Premier League Crystal Palace out of the FA Cup.
On Saturday afternoon, the Rams would have been looking to pick up another impressive result on the road, as they prepared to take on Boro at the Riverside.
Cocu’s men came from behind twice on the afternoon to grind out a point – Jason Knight cancelling out Lewis Wing’s early first-half strike.
Paddy McNair put Boro back into the lead from the penalty spot, but a superb volley from Duane Holmes secured an invaluable point for Derby in stoppage time.
Can you get 17 out of 17 on this Derby quiz?
Tom Lawrence returned to the side at the weekend, playing in what looks to be his favoured number 10 position in front of Wayne Rooney and Max Bird.
But the Welshman was on the receiving end of criticism from Derby fans after another poor display, with chances surely running out for him to impress.
Here, we take a look at what was said after the 2-2 draw…
PC only played Bogle & Lawrence to put them in the shop window , these 2 lads seriously don’t want to be at derby

Knight 3 goals in 10 starts. Lawrence 5 goals 24 starts. Surely theres a serious question mark over his place in the team now. #dcfc

Good result today in a game which could of been well out of reach by half time, showed charecter. I do question how Tom Lawrence seems to keep his place though? Plus is it just me or has bogle not been the same since returning from injury..? Wisdom unlucky not getting in #dcfc

Sounds like a good point on the road for the guys but why does Lawrence automatically come back into the team? Surely he’s got to earn his place again. Also, Wisdom didn’t deserve to be dropped.

He wasn't great was he? If Marriott stays fit, Lawrence doesn't get in this Derby team. If we had another attacking player, Lawrence doesn't get in this team. When Mason Bennett returns, I think even he goes ahead of Lawrence.

@jhackett__ Defeated again, not surprised. Lawrence was poor as expected, he definitely brings down the energy of the squad and it’s clear to see. Not one player really turned up today, showed good signs for a 20 minute spell, so hopefully it’s just an off day – disappointing res
