Brentford moved up to 13th in the Championship table after a convincing 3-0 win over Derby County on Saturday.

A brace from Ollie Watkins and a goal from Bryan Mbeumo saw the Bees ease to three points, which put an end to their four game winless run in all competitions.

Jansson has been impressive for Thomas Frank's side since he signed in the summer from Leeds United for an undisclosed fee.

There have been fears that Brentford would struggle to replace Neal Maupay, who moved to Brighton and Hove Albion during the summer transfer window.

But Ollie Watkins seems to be finding his feet in front of goal recently, which will be pleasing to see for the Griffin Park faithful.

He's already scored four goals in their league campaign this season, and he'll be key to Brentford's promotion bid as they look to give Griffin Park the perfect send off.

The Bees are next in action after the international break, when they take on Preston North End, who will fancy their chances of causing Jansson and his Brentford team-mates a number of problems.

The Verdict:

It's a real statement of intent by the Bees.

I don't think we've seen the best of them so far this season, but to beat Derby in such convincing style, they'll be delighted with their performance on the day.

If Brentford can find some consistency, then they'll certainly be up there challenging for promotion into the Premier League this season.
