Portsmouth have announced on the club website that nine players have been released from the club.
Portsmouth announced today via their club website that the contracts of nine senior squad members had been terminated while offers have been made to five other first team members.
All players that were on loan at the club have returned to their parent clubs and a deal is being negotiated to get Danny Hollands back at the club after a successful loan spell.
The five players who have been offered new deals are – Jed Wallace, Nicky Shorey, Bondz N’Gala, Nick Awford and Jack Maloney
The club have also decided to take up on the options of a contract extension for Ryan Bird and Adam Webster.
The nine players released are – George Branford, Ashley Harris, Jake Jervis, Yassin Moutaouakil, Marcos Painter, Therry Racon, Phil Smith, Liam Triggs and Josh Warren
Academy graduates Bradley Tarbuck and Ben Close have been offered one-year deals at the club whilst fellow academy players Jae Heon Kim, Harry Medway and Lewis Horsburgh have been released.
