It’s been a mixed start to the season for Sheffield United, who have picked up three points from their opening three fixtures in the Sky Bet Championship.

Chris Wilder’s side started sluggishly, losing to Swansea City and Middlesbrough, piling the pressure on themselves ahead of last weekend’s trip to Loftus Road.

However, Wilder’s side put in a good performance to win 2-1 against QPR, with Billy Sharp back on the scoresheet following his recall.

The club captain was named as a substitute for the opening two fixtures of the season, cutting a frustrated figure as Wilder’s side struggled.

But his goalscoring contribution last weekend, as well as a goal in the Carabao Cup, has earned the 32-year-old a starting berth this weekend, Wilder has confirmed.

Following Wilder’s early team news, we wanted to know if Sheffield United’s supporters were backing their manager’s decision on Sharp.

Sheffield United’s supporters were emphatically in favour of Sharp’s inclusion in the starting XI, with 89% of voters in our poll in support of Wilder.

The remaining 11% believe it isn’t a good call from the Sheffield United boss.
