It’s been a tough start to the summer for Leeds United, who haven’t made the impact in the transfer window that many expected them to under Marcelo Bielsa.

Bielsa was a high-profile, ambitious appointment by Leeds, but so far, the board have delivered just one signing, with Lewis Baker arriving on a season-long loan.

Reports earlier this week confirmed that Leeds were cooling their interest in Matej Vydra, despite the fact that the 26-year-old had been identified as a top target for Bielsa.

The 62-year-old has an outstanding reputation across the world of football, but famously in 2016 quit as Lazio’s boss after just 48 hours in the role.

He has outlasted that already at Leeds, but the Whites are known for their short-term appointments, whilst Bielsa isn’t likely to be happy with the lack of signings so far.

Here at FLW, we wanted to know if Leeds’ supporters are expecting Bielsa to last 12 months in the job at Elland Road.

Voting in our poll was reasonably close, but unsurprisingly, 62% aren’t expecting the Argentinian head-coach to last 12 months, which would be disappointing, particularly after the club's efforts to secure his service.

Just 38% of voters in our poll are positive about Leeds’ appointment and backing Bielsa to last a year.
