It’s been a slow start to the summer for Leeds United, who under Marcelo Bielsa, aren’t enjoying the best of luck in the transfer window.

A number of areas need strengthening within Leeds’ first-team including centre-back.

Here at FLW, we wanted to know if Leeds’ supporters would encourage their club to make a move for Joe Worrall, who is currently part of Aitor Karanka’s squad at Nottingham Forest.

Worrall, 21, has made 56 senior appearances for Forest during his senior career, impressing on the whole.

Last season, Worrall featured on 35 occasions for Forest, but didn’t make an appearance during the closing weeks of the season, with his last outing on March 30th.

Karanka has recruited Michael Dawson and signed Tobias Figueiredo permanently, bolstering his defensive options, which could leave Forest open to moving Worrall on in some way this summer.

Regardless of that, Leeds’ supporters don’t appear to want to bring Worrall on board next season.

Voters in our poll weren’t in favour of Leeds approaching Forest about the 21-year-old, with 62% not wanting to see Marcelo Bielsa make a move for the centre-back.

38% of voters were keen on the idea of Worrall arriving, however.

Leeds fans… Would Worrall be a good addition? Let us know your thoughts!
