When building a successful side, all managers seek a 20-goal a season man and two oftThe better strikers in the division are Chris Wood and Ross McCormack, but who is better?

New Zealand international Wood joined Leeds in a £3m deal this summer, he has previously had a number of spells in the Championship, most notably with Millwall and Leicester City.

The striker has started the season in good form, scoring four times in eight league appearances.

McCormack had a lot of pressure on him last season at Fulham. Previous manager Felix Magath shelled out £11m for the Scot, making him the most expensive Championship signing in history.

After a bit of a difficult start, he scored 17 goals in 43 league games and continued his fine form in the division. He has two goals in six so far for this season, but it's a good bet that McCormack will reach double figures this season, just as he has in three of his previous four seasons.
