Poll: Who is better – Chris Wood or Chris Martin?

Published

on

Both Chris Wood and Chris Martin are highly regarded as two of the best strikers in the Championship as they both look to score goals week in, week out.

Chris Wood, aged just 23, has scored 49 professional goals in his career so far despite a frustrating spell at Leicester City that saw him struggle for first-team places. However, since joining Leeds United this summer, the striker has gone from strength to strength and is exciting Leeds fans with his potential to thrive in the future.

Chris Martin on the other hand has managed to find the net 88 times in his career, scoring 42 goals in 82 appearances for Derby County. The 26-year-old Scotsman has scored significantly more goals than Chris Wood but the Derby County forward has made over double the first-team appearances than Chris Wood.

With Chris Wood emerging onto the scene and Chris Martin establishing himself as a key striker for Derby County, it is unclear who would score more goals given the same amount of match time.
