Barnsley defender Bambo Diaby has been found to have failed a drugs test following the Reds’ match with Blackburn Rovers in November.
The Daily Mirror reported on Tuesday evening that drugs test took place on 23rd November and that Diaby had gone on to play a further 10 matches for the Reds.
22-year-old Diaby, who arrived at Oakwell over the summer, has vowed to his teammates he will clear his name and has protested his innocence.
The defender has missed the last two games for the Reds, including Tuesday night’s 3-1 defeat to Preston North End.
According the Yorkshire Post, manager Gerhard Struber has declined to comment on the 22-year-old’s situation.
Despite the manager not wanting to comment, plenty of EFL fans have had their say on the defender’s situation.

Some supporters of various Championship sides were quick to point out the defender should be banned and Barnsley should even be docked points.
Others were a little less serious with some rivals pointing out that the ‘drugs’ clearly haven’t been performing enhancing.
