Plymouth Argyle haven’t had the best starts to the EFL League Two this season, and they will be looking for improvements on the pitch as the pressure begins to mount on manager Ryan Lowe.

However, Plymouth fans are sure to have questions surrounding their medical team as the Pilgrims find themselves with a slight injury crisis, with Ryan Taylor the latest to find himself on the sidelines after missing Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Swindon Town.

The nature of Taylor’s injury is thought to be a hamstring injury, the same injuries that fellow attackers Byron Moore and Dominic Telford find themselves on the sidelines with, and a similar injury to which Joel Grant was nursing earlier on in the campaign.

With similar and reoccuring injuries cropping up amongst the different Plymouth players, their fans will surely start to be questioning the medical team at Home Park as well as the strength and conditioning team.

Plymouth supporters will be concerned that something isn’t right with the backroom staff, that there’s a reason that these players are going down with similar injuries to eachother which then ends up ruling the players out for a while afterwards.

Ryan Lowe will also have a similar question for his medical team privately, wondering just why the players are all nursing hamstring injuries, injuries that if not taken seriously and not treated in the right manner can lead to a hamstring tear, ruling players out for the next two or three months.

However, it won’t just be the Plymouth medical staff that could come under question regarding the injuries. The Plymouth fans will be intrigued and questioning Lowe’s training methods, on whether the new man in charge of the Pilgrims is the man at fault for the injuries by pushing his players too hard in training to try and get results on the board again and improve their league standing. Plymouh fans will be wondering whether Lowe’s pushed his players to the point that some of them are unable to cope with the added work, but Plymouth will need to be find out just what the cause is behind the injuries with a busy period ahead of them.
