Plymouth Argyle sign James Bittner

It has been reported by the football league website, that Plymouth Argyle has signed goalkeeper James Bittner on a free transfer.

The 32-year-old goalkeeper spent the last season at Salisbury after he left Devon-rivals Exeter where he made 45 appearances for the club. Bittner previously turned down Hereford and Forest Green to spend the season at Salisbury.

Bittner will make the seventh signing for manager John Sheridan and will be joining Luke McCormick between the sticks and will replace Jake Cole, who left earlier this summer. The 32-year-old will also be taking on a coaching role at the Argyle Community Trust to enhance his experience.
