Plymouth Argyle midfielder Lee Cox says the club is raring to go ahead of the 2014/15 season.
Cox is one of seven new signings, after joining the Pilgrims from League One side Swindon Town and says he is ”buzzing” to get started after his permanent switch this summer after a successful loan spell.
Talking to the Plymouth Herald, he revealed it was easy slotting into the club and the squad ”Pre-season has been good. There are a few new faces but I think everyone had got to know each other now and we are trying to kick on.”
He added ”It feels pretty much like the same squad to me. You have still got the heart of the team, with player like Curtis Nelson. We have been working hard in training and all the lads are raring to go for this first game.”
Cox is one of seven signings as manager John Sheridan is restructuring his League Two side to push for promotion. Cox joins Deane Smalley, Reuben Reid, Carl McHugh, Peter Hartley, Kelvin Mellor and James Bittner.
