Plenty of Luton Town fans have taken to social media to react to a message from striker Elliot Lee, after the 2-2 draw against AFC Wimbledon last night.

Luton Town extended their lead at the top of the League One table to three points over second-placed Barnsley with a hard-fought draw at Kenilworth Road, but were denied all three points by an injury-time equaliser from Steve Seddon.

Lee opened the scoring for the Hatters last night, finishing off a fine team move from close range to take his goal tally to the season to eleven.

Following the draw, Lee sent a message to Luton fans on social media via Twttier.

Lee reminded fans that nobody said it was going to be easy, as the team prepare to enter the final two matches of their season.

Luton have been outstanding in League One this season and took another step towards securing back-to-back promotions last night, but are yet to secure automatic promotion.

The automatic promotion race in League One is incredibly tight, with the top two teams separated by just seven points after what has been a thrilling season.

Both third-placed Portsmouth and fourth-placed Sunderland have a game in hand on Luton and face each other at weekend in a game that will be crucial at the top of the division.

Lee's message caused quite a reaction from Luton supporters on social media and many of them were quick to show their support for the player.
