Lots of Derby fans have responded on Twitter to the revealing of their latest fixture list.

It's that time of year when fans find out their fate; where they might witness pandemonium, where they might witness heartbreak.

For Derby, fans aren't over the moon with the way their list looks - most notably worrying about their season's start and run in.

On the opening day of the season they face travel to ex-Premier League Huddersfield, on Boxing Day they face Wigan Athletic, on New Year's Day they have a home game to Barnsley and they finish the season away to Birmingham City.

Response from the fans seems to be one of fear - perhaps influenced by the inevitability of Lampard's departure.

After the trip to Huddersfield for the opener, they will then play at home versus Swansea, before travelling to Stoke and then having back-to-back games against Bristol City and West Brom, the month will then conclude in West London against Brentford.

While that might seem difficult, their final six games might even be tougher.

In April, they play Forest at home, West Brom away, Brentford at home, Cardiff away, Leeds at home, and then finish the season away to Birmingham on May 2.

Derby fans responses have focused on their tough start and finish - however, it should be noted they do have a nice Christmas period which can help them boost up the table. Playing Millwall at home on December 14th, followed by Reading away on the 21st, Wigan away on Boxing Day, Charlton at home on the 20th and then Barnsley at home on New Year's Day.
