Middlesbrough eased into the fourth round of the FA Cup with an emphatic victory against a woeful Peterborough side.

Boro are not renowned for scoring lots of goals, but they hammered five past Posh in an unusually incessant display of attacking prowess. Britt Assombalonga hit a brace as all the goals came after half time in the encounter at the Riverside.

Whilst the former Peterborough man might have made the headlines, it was 23-year old Lewis Wing who had fans purring in the stands. His sensational 62nd minute drive gave the home side an unassailable 3-0 lead and many believe his introduction at half time turned the game in favour of Tony Pulis' side.

Wing is something of an anomaly in the Championship, he hasn't come through an academy, filtered down from the Premier League, nor has he worked his way up through the divisions.

He spent a couple of years playing non league football for Shildon before being signed by Boro, but he's swiftly turning into a key figure for them.

If the fans on social media have their way, they'll be seeing much more of Wing in the coming weeks and months.
