‘Pleased with that’ – Many Middlesbrough fans react to starting XI v Birmingham

Middlesbrough will be hoping to climb back into the play-off places when they host Birmingham City in the Championship’s early kick-off this afternoon.

Neil Warnock’s team have been in outstanding form in the previous month, winning four of their last five matches, although a weakened Boro side were knocked out of the FA Cup by Brentford last time out.

Middlesbrough’s most recent league fixture, however, was a victory at Wycombe on January 2nd, and the North East side face another inviting game on paper against a Blues side that’ve collected just one point from a possible 18 available.

Grant Hall, Ashley Fletcher and Marcus Browne, who was stretchered off against Brentford last Saturday are all unavailable for the Teessiders, who’ve rung the changes from that FA Cup tie – with a host of regular first-teamers returning to the side.
