Nottingham Forest extended their unbeaten run to six games and it’s no coincidence that the run began when January signing Tobias Figueiredo forced his way into the team.

The centre-back joined on loan from Sporting Lisbon and has settled to the Championship instantly.

The goalless draw with Derby County on Sunday was his sixth appearance, with the Reds keeping three clean sheets in that time, demonstrating what a positive influence he has had.

As well as that, the shutout against their East Midlands rivals meant Aitor Karanka’s men kept back-to-back clean sheets for the first time this season.
