Loads of Cardiff City fans have offered their reactions after Mark Hughes jumped to the front of the race to become the Bluebirds' next manager.

The odds were according to Sky Bet and were tweeted out by a fanpage of the club, sparking a wide range of opinions on the matter as the search for Neil Warnock's successor gets underway.

Warnock parted ways with the club by mutual consent following last weekend's 1-0 loss to Bristol City in the first Severnside derby of the season, leaving Cardiff well adrift in the race to win promotion.

It remains to be seen whether the rumours linking Hughes have any basis, however.

It emerged recently that former Millwall boss Neil Harris and current Charlton Athletic manager Lee Bowyer were the board's two first-choice picks, although there does not appear to have been much movement.

Hughes has not managed a club since leaving Southampton in the middle of the 2018/19 campaign.
