Luton Town could be set to sign Birmingham City forward Isaac Vassell on loan this summer, according to reputable journalist Alan Nixon.

Blues are on the lookout for a replacement for Che Adams, who departed St. Andrew's for Premier League side Southampton earlier this summer, and once they find his replacement, it is believed that Vassell is set to depart on loan.

And, according to Nixon, Vassell could be set to return to Kenilworth Road, and re-sign for a club that he knows particularly well in Luton Town.

The 25-year-old, who signed for the Hatters from Truro in 2016, went on to score 16 goals in a total of 55 appearances for the Bedfordshire outfit.

He scored 14 goals for Town in the 2016/17 campaign before making the move to Birmingham the following summer, but his time at St. Andrew's has been forgettable so far thanks to injuries.

Luton have been very active in the summer transfer window thus far, with new manager Graeme Jones continuing to rebuild his new squad ahead of Friday night's clash with Middlesbrough.
