After a hugely impressive time at The Valley last season, Charlton Athletic are believed to be close to re-signing West Ham United midfielder Josh Cullen on loan.

The 23-year-old is no stranger to the London club having played an influential role in their promotion to the Championship last term, establishing himself as a regular in midfield.

The box-to-box midfielder scored twice and produced seven assists in all competitions for Lee Bowyer's side last season, forming a solid partnership in midfield with Joe Aribo and Darren Pratley.

Since their promotion from League One, plenty of the Addicks' star players have moved onto pastures new - Aribo moving to Rangers, Patrick Bauer moving to Preston, and former loanee Krystian Bielik moving to Derby.

So, to have a player of Cullen's quality and rapport with the fans will undoubtedly be a massive boost for the Addicks, and although he is highly regarded at West Ham, Football Insider claim that Charlton are on the verge of re-signing him on loan.

Here, we take a look at Charlton fans' reactions to this news...
