Hungary drew 2-2 with Germany in their final Euro 2020 group game yesterday and many Bristol City fans have been waxing lyrical about Adam Nagy despite his side's exit from the tournament.

Nagy's side led twice against their final opponents in Group H, nicknamed 'The Group of Death', but were unable to hold out and could only take a point – meaning they have not qualified for the knock-out stages.

When the groups were announced it always looked like a difficult task for Hungary but they've gone toe-to-toe with Germany, France, and Portugal, and are really unlucky to have only come away with two points.

Nagy has been one of his side's outstanding performers throughout the tournament and last night was no different.

The midfielder lined up against the likes of Toni Kroos, Ilkay Gundogan, and Leon Goretzka and was excellent both with and without the ball.

Nagy completed 85% of his passes, including one key pass, and lost possession just six times all game, while he made four interceptions and three tackles (Sofascore).

Getting the 26-year-old to transfer his international form into his performances for City has always been a challenge but he seemed more settled in the 2020/21 campaign and looks set to return to Ashton Gate high in confidence.
