Norwich City are considering a bid for Bristol City defender Aden Flint, according to The Daily Mail.

Boss Daniel Farke has identified the giant defender as the man to solve his defensive woes, with the Canaries having shipped four goals in each of their past two outings.

The German boss is under early pressure, with the East Anglian side sitting in the bottom three after five rounds of games, and must make changes before the transfer window closes this week.

Flint has been subject to interest from Birmingham City this summer, with Harry Redknapp having seen bids for the former Alfreton man rejected.

The 28-year-old old joined the Robins from Swindon Town in 2013, and has gone on to make 170 league appearances for the club, scoring an impressive 28 goals along the way.

A commanding central defender, Flint is exactly the type of player Farke needs to solve his crisis at the back, but the player will certainly come at a premium.

Norwich fans have been voicing their opinions of the player on Twitter, with the majority keen to see the big man marshalling the backline at Carrow Road this season…
