Birmingham City face a fight to keep hold of star man Che Adams this summer after his impressive season for the Championship club.

The 22-year-old was involved in every Blues match this season as he scored 22 league goals and registered five assists.

He played a big part in helping Garry Monk's side to safety as they finished 17th despite a nine-point deduction earlier in the season.

This has led to a number of reports linking the striker with a move away from St Andrew's as the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United are said to be interested in his services.

Adams' form for Birmingham saw him sweep up at the club's awards evening on Sunday, as he picked up Supporters' Player of the Year and Players' Player of the Year.

Following this, Adams posted a message on Twitter thanking the supporters for this season:

Birmingham fans will be hoping he stays on at the club, but it may well prove too difficult for the Blues to turn down a potentially large fee for a man who has developed considerably over the past three seasons.

Supporters responded to Adams' tweet expressing their appreciation for the club's leading marksman, while some read the tweet as a goodbye message. Here are some of the best reactions...
