‘Playing out of his skin at the moment’ – Many Portsmouth fans react to player’s display vs AFC Wimbledon

Portsmouth continued their outstanding recent form following their joint-biggest victory of the campaign against AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday night.
Kenny Jackett’s side have now managed six clean sheets on the bounce, collecting 16 points from a possible 18 available since their narrow defeat at Blackpool at the beginning of December.
Against the Dons, Pompey had the points all but secured by half-time after Ryan Williams teed up John Marquis before curling a wonderful effort into the far corner to double Portsmouth’s lead.
Sean Raggett and Ben Close added gloss to the scoreline as the Fratton Park outfit moved one point behind both second-placed Lincoln City and leaders Hull City, who beat Accrington Stanley.

Ryan Williams. Puts in a shift every game, really plays for the badge. He is always amongst the goals with scoring/assists/deliveries. Unreal asset to the team. Cool as you like

Close one, but Williams was class again. Tidy finish and it Could’ve been 2 goals if it wasn’t for Marquis poaching one. #Pompey

Willo has run and run and run a bit more! Criticism has been thrown at him for lack of end product but he has shown that perseverance and a great work ethic with a supportive family you can make improvements to your game! Keep up the great work @rwillo23

Ryan Williams all day today. Goal and assist, always pressed the opposition. Cutting inside or always out wide, caused a lot of problems.

Willo because he’s been class for a while now and the goal today shows for it
