Kamil Grosicki appears to have suggested that it will be known by Tuesday whether or not his move to Nottingham Forest will be allowed by the authorities.

It has still to be confirmed whether or not Grosicki's move to Forest was confirmed with the relevant authorities in time, and whether the deal will be allowed to go ahead, with reports suggesting that Forest were just 21 seconds late in submitting the paperwork to the EFL for a loan move for the winger from West Brom.

That deadline was back on the 16th October, and it now appears as though a decision is finally about to be announced one way or another, judging by Grosicki's own recent social media activity.

Taking to Twitter on Saturday, the 32-year-old simply posted the "#Tuesday" along with a series of emojis that included an hourglass, and praying hands.

That would indicate that Grosicki expects to know his situation for the remainder of the campaign by Tuesday, although he appears to still be uncertain as to what that will.

The Poland international only joined West Brom from Hull on an 18-month contract in January, and has made a total of 15 appearances in all competitions for the Baggies, scoring once and providing three assists.

The Verdict

This will surely be a relief for all parties once it is decided one way or another.

That way, both Forest and West Brom will be able to make their plans for the rest of the season with the knowledge of who is available to them.

The same can also be said of Grosicki, who will then have the certainty of knowing exactly what challenge faces him in the rest of the current campaign, although it seems he is keen on a move to The City Ground, which ought to give him more playing time this season.

It has surely been frustrating for all concerned not having a definitive answer one way or another, and the fact it has taken so long to decide perhaps highlights just how tight a call it was in terms of getting things done with this particular deal.
