Getting prepared for a match with some music on in the changing room is standard practice in football these days and Coventry City are certainly no exception.

With matches coming thick and fast in the Championship, players then, are exposed to a lot of music from their teammates favourite playlists.

With that being said, recently, we had Coventry City forwards Martyn Waghorn and Matty Godden on FLW TV discussing their Sky Blues teammates, where they revealed Jamie Allen as the club's dedicated dressing room DJ.

Waghorn and Godden even went one further and exposed the teammate they believe to have the worst music taste at Coventry City.

Here's what they had to say!

"To be honest I don't really know because we've had a set playlist for all season." Waghorn explained.

"There's a few rascal one's when you go into the gym but I don't know who that is."

"Vik actually, Viktor Gyokeres he had a few naughty tunes, didn't he?"

"He went away a couple of times with the national team and come back with some awful tunes - I genuinely think he was part of Swedish House Mafia when he came back so he got chucked off it straight away."

"I'm going to go Viktor." Waghorn concluded.

After thinking hard about the question, Godden added: "I might have to say Kells (Liam Kelly) purely for the fact that I don't know what he listens to."

"You go into the gym and it's loud and pumping and then he comes in and turns it down, he's like a little old man, it's too loud for his ears."

The Verdict

Harsh words from Martyn Waghorn and Matty Godden there but in all said in good fun nonetheless.

Waghorn's tearing into Viktor Gyokeres' Swedish tunes in particular was a great part of the video.

As was Godden telling the story about Liam Kelly coming into the gym and turning the music down, jokingly calling him an old man.

All of the above though, just goes to show how well the lads in the Coventry City dressing room get on, with Waghorn and Godden more than comfortable with having a laugh and a bit of fun at their teammates' expense.
