Crewe Alexandra right back Perry Ng has spoken out about the widespread interest in securing his services from other clubs, with the 23-year-old having become something of an in-demand player in recent months.
According to Team Talk, the defender is said to be of interest to a host of Championship clubs, with the likes of Birmingham City, Nottingham Forest, Derby County, Charlton and Bristol City all said to be keeping tabs on the right back’s situation as he continues to wind down his current contract.
Ng has been ever present for the Railwaymen this term, playing 32 times in the league whilst registering one goal and five assists in the process.

The attack minded full back has now spoken out regarding his future, with the 23-year-old stating the following to the Nottingham Post:
“You hear a lot of rumours but I hate hearing it, I’d rather not know.
“I’m contracted to Crewe for another two years so unless something big changes I’ll still be here.
“If I wasn’t happy here I wouldn’t have signed in the first place. I’m happy if I stay it doesn’t bother me at all, I’m very relaxed about it.”
The full back currently has a contract with the Alex until the summer of 2021, and to date has turned out for his boyhood club on over 150 occasions, including a host of strong showings this term which has helped to aid the club’s promotion bid.
Ng would certainly be an interesting signing for Forest as they seek to prepare a backup option for the possibility of Matty cash departing for pastures new.
The 23-year-old is by far and away one of the most promising young prospects that is operating in the lower reaches of the Football League and could well be keen to challenge himself at a higher level after excelling in League Two this season.
With the player only having just over a year to run on his current deal, a financial package for his services would not be high in the current market, thus making him a cheap and affordable option for Sabri Lamouchi if the Forest boss was to pursue the player’s signature.
Meanwhile, Ng will be seeking to make another positive impact for the Alex this weekend as they take on Macclesfield Town at Gresty Road on Saturday.
