‘Play the second squad’, ‘The best change’ – Plenty of Cardiff City fans react to weekend selection dilemma

Cardiff City have had a tough couple of results in the last week as their dreams of a play-off place begin to dwindle.

Neil Harris’ side have recently lost to both Stoke City and Nottingham Forest, failing to register a goal in either of the matches.

It has seen them miss a valuable chance to move closer to the play-off places after both Preston North End and Bristol City suffered defeats this week.

Cardiff now sit 11th in the Championship and with just 11 matches to go they need to pick up some crucial points quickly if they’re to secure a top-six finish.

On Saturday, the Bluebirds host another team that are vying for promotion to the Premier League. Harris’ side take on a Brentford side who sit fifth in the Championship. A win for Cardiff would take them to within three points of their opponents.

Fans in the Facebook group Only One Cardiff City have been discussing what changes they think should be made to the Bluebirds lineup ahead of the tricky test against Thomas Frank’s Brentford.
