Graham Potter will be happy with his side's reaction on Tuesday night, after running out convincing 3-1 winners over Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday night.

The Swans were unlucky to have lost against Aston Villa at the weekend, where Potter's men fell to a 1-0 defeat at Villa Park.

However after finding themselves 1-0 down to a Charlie Mulgrew penalty, the Swans came out of the blocks and scored two quickfire goals through a David Raya own goal and a Connor Roberts strike, before Bersant Celina secured all three points in the dying embers of the match.

The result leaves Swansea sitting 8th in the Championship standings after fourteen league games - with a push for the playoffs very much on.

The January transfer window will be a massively important time for Swansea, and Potter will look to strengthen his squad in preparation for a playoff push.

Here, we take a look at three players Swansea should be scouting ahead of a January move...

One player who could be of interest to the Swans is Portsmouth's Jamal Lowe.

The 24-year-old has netted six times and provided three assists in fifteen appearances for Kenny Jackett's men, and he has been superb for the South Coast side ever since his arrival from Hampton and Richmond Borough in 2017.

He can play either out wide, up top or behind the striker, and could be a shrewd signing for Potter's men.

Keeping their eyes on players at Fratton Park, Pompey's Matt Clarke could be a fantastic signing for Swansea.

The defender has been a mainstay in a Pompey defence that has conceded just thirteen league goals this season, and at just 22 years of age, he already looks a mature, established head in defence, and could be a shrewd signing for the Welsh club.

Karlan Grant is another player who could be of interest to the Welsh side.

He has scored seven goals and provided two assists for League One side Charlton Athletic this season, and can play either up front, behind the striker, or out wide as an inside forward which would suit Potter's preferred 4-3-3 formation.
