Planning ahead: Swansea City scouts must be sent to watch this trio ahead of January

Graham Potter will be happy with his side’s reaction on Tuesday night, after running out convincing 3-1 winners over Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday night.

The Swans were unlucky to have lost against Aston Villa at the weekend, where Potter’s men fell to a 1-0 defeat at Villa Park.

However after finding themselves 1-0 down to a Charlie Mulgrew penalty, the Swans came out of the blocks and scored two quickfire goals through a David Raya own goal and a Connor Roberts strike, before Bersant Celina secured all three points in the dying embers of the match.

The result leaves Swansea sitting 8th in the Championship standings after fourteen league games – with a push for the playoffs very much on.

The January transfer window will be a massively important time for Swansea, and Potter will look to strengthen his squad in preparation for a playoff push.

Here, we take a look at three players Swansea should be scouting ahead of a January move…
