Nottingham Forest have had an extremely productive summer, seriously backing Aitor Karanka as he looks to push for promotion.

The Reds have signed 13 players so far, with many of those captures catching the eye.

From club-record signing Joao Carvalho to the experienced Michael Dawson returning to the City Ground on a free, Karanka has been smart in his recruitment and has a real mixture of quality in his ranks.

Given the number of new players and the massive squad that Karanka has at his disposal, Forest are well equipped to cope with the demands of the Championship.

Yet, he is always looking for ways to improve and now the Premier League deadline has passed, opportunities for loan deals may arise that hadn't previously been available.

With that in mind, we look at three potential loan signings that would add real quality to this already impressive Forest squad...

Forest generally have two quality options in each position such is the depth in Karanka's squad.

However, that can't really be said in goal. Costel Pantilimon is the number one however Jordan Smith was given the nod in the Carabao Cup as number two last night but was sent off after making a mistake.

Luke Steele is a decent backup as well but if something happened to the Romanian you would worry for Forest.

Therefore, they should move for former England international Forster who would ensure the Reds have two standout keepers at this level and would maybe even get ahead of Pantilimon.

As mentioned, Forest don't desperately need new players in any position but they will be on the lookout for quality.

And, Ojo is most certainly that. The Liverpool winger has pace, great dribbling ability and can unlock any defence so would be an asset over the season.

Having failed to get a move to a Premier League side, Abraham will surely be leaving Chelsea in the coming weeks as he is third choice at best, whilst Maurizio Sarri may prefer a false nine than using the youngster if it came to it.

Therefore, Abraham could move and the quick striker would flourish at this level. He is certainly an upgrade on what Forest currently have.
