Queens Park Rangers are suffering a dull period in the club's modern history as the west London outfit are set to finish mid-table in the 2016/17 Championship season.

Although there have been a few fortunate spells during the campaign, more so in January than any other time.

A change of manager, numerous departures and arrivals have definitely not helped the cause at Loftus Road and chairman/owner Tony Fernandes is probably beginning to become frustrated at the performances on the pitch following his continuous injection of cash.

The Malaysian businessman will have been satisfied after the club's winter transfer window business; getting rid of a large chunk of wages in the playing squad may actually be beneficial for their ambitions next season.

Some stars have shone, despite the lacklustre displays overall from a depleted team, and that will need to be addressed in the summer.

Here are TWO QPR stars that could be leaving the side to play in the top-flight before you know it......

Ryan Manning

Since the arrival of Ian Holloway as manager a host of players have been given opportunities and one who has excelled in that is Republic of Ireland midfielder Ryan Manning.

The 20 year-old wasn't given a sniff under Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink but he is now regularly amongst the first-team at Queens Park Rangers with 11 Championship appearances this campaign.

There is definitely a bright future for Manning and his sudden rise at the club means teams from the top-flight might begin looking at the youngster, if they haven't already and possibly be on his way in the very near future.

Yeni N'Gbakoto

The 25 year-old has enjoyed life in England since making the move from France last summer for an undisclosed fee, and the forward will be looking to continue his good form until the end of the season.

Yeni N'Gbakoto has appeared on sixteen occasions in the league for QPR with one goal and an assist, but like Ryan Manning, his time at Loftus Road was difficult before the appointment of Ian Holloway.

The Frenchman will be attracting interest from lower end sides in the Premier League either in the summer transfer window or next January and Rangers will struggle to keep hold of their key man.

Queens Park Rangers fans, do you agree? Is a move on the cards for Ryan Manning and Yeni N'Gbakoto? Who else could be switching to the top-flight in the not too far distant future? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
