TeamTalk reported that the Posh had rejected an offer of £350k from Middlesbrough, however this claim has been rejected by the Peterborough chairman.

Responding to a question on Twitter, MacAnthony said: "No bid. Middlesbrough wouldn't make an offer like that to be fair."

MacAnthony then added: "We haven't laughed any bid off. Mind you my director of football hasn't called me today and if he did receive an offer like that he wouldn't call me!"
