Sky Bet League One offered plenty to talk about over the weekend just gone and so now it's time to take a closer look at those that get into our Team of the Week.

In goal, we start with Adam Davies. The stopper never really looked like getting beaten for Barnsley who kept their 100% record up at Bradford in a Yorkshire derby.

Across the defence, Ben Purrington of Wimbledon comes in after their 0-0 v Coventry whilst Joe Wright of Doncaster is also included for his goal and significant part in Rovers' 3-0 win over Wycombe.

Finally, completing the defence is Ashley Eastham who was solid for Fleetwood Town as they earned an impressive 2-0 win for Oxford.

Moving into midfield, Walsall's Zeli Ismail had an eventful game against Scunthorpe as he won and scored the penalty in their 1-1 draw with the Iron.

History was made by Sean McConville as he scored Accrington Stanley's first ever third tier goal at Bristol Rovers and Mark O'Hara also gets into the side for his brace as Peterborough battered Rochdale.

Keeping with the Posh, Jason Cummings looked lively as he notched too and it certainly seems safe to say that he and Matt Godden have struck up a partnership.

Cummings said that playing Fortnite has helped that along, and Steve Evans will hope that continues.

Continuing where he left off last season, meanwhile, Tom Eaves came on for Gillingham to help them take the game away from Burton Albion with a pair of strikes.

And it's on a brace where we end proceedings, too, with Ronan Curtis bagging a couple for Portsmouth as they made it two wins in two up in the north-west against Blackpool.
