Peter Ramage set to re-join Barnsley on loan

Barnsley are set to re-sign Crystal Palace defender Peter Ramage on a three-month loan deal, according to Football Reporter at the Press Association Sean Taylor.

The 30-year-old is expected to sign for the Tykes and be in the squad for the weekend game away at Rochdale.

Barnsley are currently holding the fourth spot in the relegation zone in League One after being relegated back to the third tier of English football.

Ramage had a loan spell at Oakwell in 2013, playing 23 times and is set to sign again on a three-month deal.

Barnsley have taken nine points from their first nine games and manager Danny Wilson is looking to bolster his defense with the signing of the experienced Peter Ramage.
