“Perfect business”, “Double swoop is what’s needed” – Leeds fans want to sign duo after stunning FA Cup displays

Peterborough United produced one of the cup upsets of the FA Cup Third Round as they brushed aside high flying Championship side Aston Villa with a late rally.

Peterborough trailed the Villains with fifteen minutes left to play after Keinan Davis opened the scoring but Jack Marriott scored a late brace and Ryan Tafazolli netted another to end the game 3-1.

And there were starring roles played by a duo of Leeds United targets.

Jack Marriott bagged two goals to add to his burgeoning reputation – his tally of 17 league goals makes him the top scorer in League One.

And Marcus Maddison, a lively winger, produced two assists to inspire the comeback victory.

Leeds have been linked with both of these players and their performance today would have done nothing to dissuade Thomas Christiansen from making a swoop.
