Leeds United’s focus so far this summer has gone into trimming Marcelo Bielsa’s playing squad.

Only Lewis Baker has been added to Bielsa’s squad this summer, with the midfielder arriving on a season-long loan, amid a number of departures.

The latest payer who looks set to be heading for the exit door is Tyler Denton, Leeds’ young left-back.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Denton will link up with Peterborough United in League One, where he will reunite with ex-Leeds boss, Steve Evans.

The 22-year-old favours a loan move away from Elland Road, with his first-team chances looking limited under Marcelo Bielsa.

So far in his senior career, Denton has made three appearances for Leeds, without featuring in the Championship.

As expected, Denton’s developing transfer story brought plenty of reaction on social media…

Leeds’ supporters are obviously concerned about the lack of signings made so far this summer, however, the general feeling is that a loan move for Denton makes sense.
