Paul Robinson has admitted that Erling Braut Haaland ‘would be a brilliant addition’ for Leeds United.
The 19-year-old is one of the hottest prospects in World football and has been widely tipped for a big-money move during the January transfer window.
A number of clubs are thought to be interested, including RB Leipzig and Manchester United.
The Red Devils are thought to be favourites for the starlet’s signature, but the former Leeds United goalkeeper was also keen to include the Yorkshire side in the conversation about Haaland as talk of QSI’s investment continues to grow.
Speaking to MOT Leeds News, Robinson said: “If the world’s your oyster and money’s no object, of course, you go and buy the very best players.
“It’s important that if investment does come in, they strengthen the squad, but Bielsa hasn’t historically spent for the sake of spending so it will be interesting to see.

“I certainly don’t think Patrick Bamford can do it on his own. It’s one area they definitely need to improve.”
Speaking about links with Haaland, Robinson said: “I’ve heard what Solskjaer has said… It looks like he’s going to Man United.
“But a player of that quality and that ability, of course he would be a brilliant addition for Leeds.”
Erling Braut Haaland may have family connections to Leeds United, but I’d very surprised to see him moving to Elland Road.
The 19-year-old is regarded as one of the hottest prospects in the world at present, meaning he’s likely to be fielding offers from plenty of the worlds’ biggest and richest names.
If Leeds get promoted you can’t rule out a move in the future, but for now it seems like a bit of a stretch.
