Ipswich Town manager Paul Lambert has revealed that Toto Nsiala and Will Keane could be in line to feature in Saturday's clash with Fleetwood Town.
The Tractor Boys, who are currently top of the League One standings, will be aiming to extend their winning run to four games by overcoming Joey Barton's side.
Although Nsiala has yet to feature for Ipswich's senior side this season due to a hamstring injury, he has stepped up his rehabilitation in recent weeks by appearing for the club's Under-23s.
Keane, who joined the Tractors Boys on a permanent deal this summer after impressing on loan last season (via BBC Sport), has been limited to just two league appearances during the current term.
Having missed last week's clash with Tranmere Rovers due to an issue with his groin, the forward could be set to make his return to action on Saturday.
Speaking to the local press (as cited by the club's official Twitter account) ahead of Ipswich's trip to Fleetwood, Lambert said: "Toto isn't too far away.
"We've got a couple of games then a break so he will definitely be involved in one of them.
"We'll see how Will Keane is over the next couple of days.
"We don't seem to be too bad with injuries."
Providing that Ipswich secure all three points on Saturday, they could extend their lead at the top of the league depending on results elsewhere.
The Verdict
If Nsiala and Keane are indeed available for selection this weekend, it will be intriguing to see whether Lambert decides to make any changes to his line-up.
Whilst both players possess an abundance of talent, they may have to settle for a place on the substitutes bench due to the fact that their team-mates were outstanding during last Saturday's clash with Tranmere.
Given that Ipswich are currently flying in League One, it would be somewhat of a shock if they do not seal all three points at Highbury Stadium.
