Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Paul Lambert has spoken to the Express and Star about the future of striker Paul Gladon and it does not look like he will staying at Molineux.

Lambert has admitted that Gladon is "just not part of it" and added that he has so many players at the club.

That would imply that the Wolves boss is likely to get rid of a number of players in the summer and Gladon is widely expected to be on the list of departures.

The 25-year-old has struggled to make an impact at Wolves since his summer switch from Dutch outfit Heracles.

The Dutchman had netted 2 goals in 3 games for Heracles in the Dutch Eredivisie before completing a late summer move to Wolves but he has only had three outings in black and gold all season.

His last appearance came in late September and he has not featured under Paul Lambert.

Lambert told The Express and Star:

“He’s just not part of it.

"I’ve got so many players here.

"Paul has maybe found it hard himself.

"I think it’s maybe thrown him as well, how hard it is.

"I’ve just got to go with ones I think can do it, week in week out.

"Maybe he’ll come to me and say it’s not worked, which is fine, no issues.

"It’s an area where we’ll try and strengthen."
