Paul Lambert challenges Wolves star to do this to boost survival bid

According to The Express and Star, Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Paul Lambert wants Nouha Dicko to score more goals.

Dicko broke an eighteen month goal drought when he netted a consolation goal in the 2-1 defeat at home to Birmingham City last Friday and Lambert wants him to take the confidence from this to go on a goal scoring run.

Wolves have only scored 2 goals in their last 5 games (all of which they have lost) and this has become a cause for concern as they slide closer to the relegation zone.

With Joe Mason and Ivan Cavaleiro out injured, Paul Lambert is challenging Dicko to score the goals to fire Wolves to safety.

Lambert told the Star:

“The challenge for Nouha is to kick on, Nouha is a big threat because he’s got speed, he’s strong and knows where the goal is.

“Hopefully that goal gives him the will to go on and get another.”
