Leeds United remain well on course to win a long-awaited promotion back into the Premier Legaue this season under the guidance of Marcelo Bielsa.Â
The Whites are currently sat second in the Championship table, and are three points clear of third-placed Nottingham Forest heading into their game against Middlesbrough on Wednesday evening.
A number of players have certainly stepped up to the mark for Bielsa's men when required, and they'll be keen to get over the line in the near future as they target promotion into the top-flight.
One Leeds player whose work often goes unnoticed is Patrick Bamford, who has (at times) struggled for consistency in terms of goals this season.
The forward has 12 goals to his name so far this season, and will be keen to add to that tally with 12 league games remaining of this year's campaign.
American singer/songwriter Jon Bon Jovi has recently sent a message to Bamford, after hearing that the Leeds striker is a fan of him.
Bon Jovi claimed that he is holding the next cheque for Bamford, but he must score to get it in an interview with talkSPORT.Â
Bamford was quick to respond to Jon Bon Jovi's message for the Leeds forward, and labelled the singer as an 'absolute legend' after his kind words.
Bamford and his Leeds United team-mates return to action on Wednesday evening, when they take on relegation-threatened Middlesbrough at the Riverside.

The Verdict:Â
This could be a confidence-booster for Bamford.
He's not been at his best this season with Leeds, and has struggled for consistency in terms of goals this term. But his work-ethic is something that you cannot complain about if you're a Leeds supporter, as he is always chasing down the ball and working for his team.
If he can find some consistency in front of goal towards the end of the season, then I have no doubt in saying that Leeds will win a long-awaited promotion back into the Premier League.
I certainly wouldn't put Bamford and Jon Bon Jovi together as friends, but what do I know!
