Birmingham City have confirmed that striker Miguel Fernandez has signed a new contract with the club, causing a reaction from Blues fans on social media.
The 19-year-old joined the Blues in the summer, signing a short-term deal after impressing on trail. The Spaniard has scored seven goals for Birmingham’s Under-23s so far this season, but his six-month contract at the club expired yesterday.
