‘Pathetic’ – Many Nottingham Forest fans react to 23-year-old’s performance v Norwich

Nottingham Forest fell to their fifth defeat in six games last night, after losing 2-1 to Norwich City at Carrow Road.
Forest came into this one embarking on a dismal run of form, failing to find the net in their last six league matches.
Chris Hughton’s side were to suffer further disappointment on Wednesday night, too, losing 2-1 to the Canaries at Carrow Road.
On the stroke of half-time, Jacob Sorensen put Norwich in front, capitalising on a poor header from Yuri Ribeiro to convert from close-range.
Forest did find an equaliser on 73 minutes when Anthony Knockaert’s cross-cum-shot found its way into the bottom corner.
But the Reds weren’t level for long, as Emi Buendia’s deflected effort wrong-footed Brice Samba and put Norwich back into a 2-1 lead.
By his usually high standards, last night was disappointing for Ribeiro, whose error led to Norwich’s first goal.
Here’s what fans had to say about his performance…
Christie, fair enough he was beat. Ribeiro fans favourite was pathetic and most keepers would of saved that. We came out well and deserved the equaliser. Unlucky 2nd goal, even old travel lodge couldn’t save that. We then pressed and deserved something. If you can’t see that…🙄

Well I must say Norwich are not a great side. Keep going like that Forest and we will be ok. Get Samba and Ribeiro replaced. McKenna back, Grabban fit and we will rise up the league

He's been terrible for months. The drop off from Ribeiro (pre-lockdown) and Cash to the pair we've got at full back now is incredible #nffc

Shocking header from Ribeiro I think it was that lead to the goal #nffc

First time Ribeiro's ever found an attacking player in the box… #nffc

Ioannou would have cleared it (saying even though I have not seen it)

Christie let him waltz past him like he was 18stone 40 year old. He is worst defending right back for 20 years.
